My name is Robin Hickman, and I work with moms like you every day. In 2003 I made an important decision that changed my Bozeman area portrait studio forever.At that point I was running a typical studio which, like most studios offered a complete range of portraits including things like weddings and business headshots, model portfolios as well as family portraits. At some point I realized that when you do a little bit of everything, it's hard to be exceptional at anything, and I wanted to be exceptional. So I introduced the now famous Baby Plan to Bozeman, belgrade and Livinston and changed my focus to serving the specific needs of mothers. The Baby Plan apparently met an overwhelming need, because it quickly became the number one type of session that we do. I no longer photograph weddings, as I felt that diluted our focus on young mothers needs. We got so busy with babies and kids that by 2005 I even virtually dropped High School Senior Portraits from our line. This year, even though we are busier than ever, we have a great staff and a greatly imroved, much more accurate and efficient system for processing orders. I decided that Senior Portraits was also a valuable service to mothers and seniors that we really needed to be offering again. Like everything else we do, our Senior portrait sessions are unique in the Bozeman area. We invest more time, time getting to know our clients on a personal level, time traveling to multiple locations, more time creating exactly what you and you senior want. It made for some long days this summer , but I am thrilled with the results, and more important, my clients have been thrilled.
The Baby Plan continues to be our biggest line. The babies that have enrolled now number in the hundreds. Many of those babies are now toddlers and for them we have designed our Enchanted Childhood series, as well as other Child Portrait sessions. And as a natural extension of the baby portraits, our Pregnancy Portraits have become very popular. Mother Baby and Family Portraits fill out our busy schedule. This year High School Seniors once again became a big part of what we do.
As a result, I have a lot of experience working with mothers. We have designed everything we do around the lives of busy mothers. For example, we offer free delivery of your orders in the Bozeman and Belgrade areas. We understand last minute schedule changes because of sick kids or other unexpected events. Our private dressing room has a changing table, complete with diapers for those times when you forget, and a comfortable overstuffed chair for nursing. We schedule long session times of at least an hour so shy kids have time to get comfortable and young babies can take plenty of nursing breaks, all without you feeling rushed or pressured. We stock our studio with toys, puzzles and coloring books. Family members and friends are always welcome, as are your children, even when they aren't the ones scheduled for portraits.
